Dawn Cortner is an avid lover of languages and travel. When Dawn is not teaching English, she is learning Spanish and often invites students from the Spanish courses and ESL courses for language immersion events. Dawn is hard-working, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to teaching English and Spanish.
Dawn Cortner es una ávida amante de los idiomas y los viajes. Cuando Dawn no está enseñando inglés, está aprendiendo español y, a menudo, invita a estudiantes de los cursos de español y de ESL a eventos de inmersión lingüística. Daymara Ayala has been learning new languages for years. She is originally from Puerto Rico, but she moved to Alabama on her junior year. Daymara has an English degree with a concentration in Literature from UAB. She also minored in Linguistics and French. She teaches English and Spanish at Yuwenbon. Daymara likes to teach at a pace that will not overwhelm the student.
Daymara Ayala ha estado aprendiendo nuevos idiomas por años. Ella es originalmente de Puerto Rico pero se mudó a Alabama cuando estaba en undécimo grado. Daymara tiene un bachillerato en Inglés con una concentración en Literatura. También tiene Francés y lingüística como asignatura secundaria. Ella enseña Inglés y Español en Yuwenbon. A Daymara le gusta enseñar de manera que no abrume al estudiante.
Becky Hammond is a Huntsville native. She has a BA in International Studies and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Commerce. In November 2017 she received her TESL Certification from the Tennessee Language Center in Nashville, TN. Since that time, she has been teaching group and individual classes in Nashville, Chattanooga and on Zoom. Now, she teaches English at Yuwenbon.
